- Yesterday I watched the Shadow Effect movie by Debbie Ford. It is a profound movie which seeks to answer the question “ What is the shadow?”. According to the late Dr. Carl Jung, the Shadow describes the unconscious, darker, and repressed aspects of our personalities that we tend to deny. We all project onto other people parts of ourselves that we disown and deny.
