Self esteem FAQ - Workbook
Question: My 12 year old daughter seems to be suffering from low self esteem. We have been through a lot in the past few years, more than most in a life time. She is in a new school (7th grade), a new state and far a way from her father. Would this workbook be of any help to a 12 year old girl? I am trying my best to improve her self esteem but I think she needs more. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Answer and advise: Thank you for your email. I am sorry to hear about your daughter. I don't think that this workbook is going to help her, because is written for adults. She is only 12 and is going through a lot. I would suggest you check the Dove fund at : http://www.campaignforrealbeauty.com/dsef07/t5.aspx?id=7375 , they approach self esteem issues for girls. It has a lot of information made for girls from ages 11 to 14. I wish you the best, please let me know if you need something else.
