Improve self esteem by reducing stress

There is a relationship between how to cope with stress and self esteem. Stress is defined as a mentally or emotionally upsetting condition occurring in response to adverse external influences. Stress is capable of affecting physical health, usually characterized by increased heart rate. A rise in blood pressure, muscular tension, irritability, and depression.
Different people react in different way under stress . No knowing how to cope with stress is related to your self esteem. As you can see from the definition , it is a response to external influences.
People with low self esteem are usually externally oriented ; have less ability to cope with stress. They blame, don't take responsibility. They don't take care of themselves and are too much concern about other's opinions.
On the other hand, a person with a healthy self esteem is internal oriented. Ttake care of him/her and assume responsibility. Is independent of the good or bad opinion's of others, therefore, is more capable of handling and cope with stress. He/she lives from the inside out.
If you are too stressful you can start by pampering yourself, it is escencial to gain relaxation and to improve self esteem. Meditation is an excellent tool, practicing meditation helps reduce anxiety, stress and live more centered. This two actions help to become aware of what is going on in your life.
