Self esteem is your acceptance, respect , self confidence and satisfaction as a person. Self esteem is acquired in childhood though the messages you received. Self-esteem shapes how you interact with others and see the world.
Your self esteem influences :
- How you honor your own dignity .
- How you treat yourself .
- How you judge those around you.
- How important you think you are .
What is a healthy Self-Esteem?
A healthy self esteem is the foundation of your existence because it influences how you perceive yourself and life in general.
Why Self-Esteem is important ? . Because it helps you to be proud of your self , approach circumstances differently, know you are worthy , deserve happiness and make choices that support you.
What is Low Self Esteem?
Low Self Esteem is a negative view of oneself . It causes self-image distortion , anxiety, depression and insecurity in relationships.
Some causes of Low Self Esteem are perfectionism , abuse , being strongly criticized , beaten, ignored or ridiculed . Try Building Self Esteem .
