Improve your self esteem with self nurturing. It is a way to feel good about yourself. It is the awareness that you are worthwhile person by treating yourself with respect and dignity.

There are several way you can practice self nurturing. Self-care is simply taking care of your own needs. Select some of the following ideas to improve self esteem or create your own ones and commit to do this for a week.

  1. Have fun and relax. Go to a movie, laugh, take a nap or a massage, meditate, plant a garden, buy a pet.
  2. Get enough sleep. Eat healthy food, it influence your moods and general health.
  3. Exercise regularly. Builds confidence and self esteem and prevents depression.
  4. Know your Strengths and achievements. Write them down. Fell proud.
  5. Reflect on you qualities, give thanks for what you have and your love ones. This is a great habit for raising self esteem
  6. Listen to your favorite music. Dance. Watch Inspirational videos
  7. Learn a new skill. Taking risks is the best way to increase your confidence and feel good about yourself. It you failed is ok, at least you are proud.
  8. Read positive books and inspirational quotes to get motivated and find light when you are discourage. This is an excellent self nurturing habit for your soul and mind.
